Health and Sustainability

Recover and then maintain pace with all Green New Deal targets. Improve upon all targets related to walkability and pollution reduction by eliminating commercial zoning and allowing local small businesses to flourish. Improve upon all targets related to urban agriculture by opening up all properties in all zones to urban farms. Improve upon all targets related to health and waste by creating a digital food bank that will eliminate food waste and food deserts. Improve upon all targets related to access to green space by expediting construction of the LA River Revitalization Project. Improve upon all targets related to environmental education by requiring environmental education in public schools and by undertaking the country's largest public climate campaign to educate the general public on the state of climate change and the path toward sustainability. This will be a truly innovative and progressive climate agenda.
